The vast majority of property valuations are Red Book valuations and will be unless specifically specified/detailed otherwise. The Red Book requirements include the International Valuation Standards 2020.
All our residential valuations are carried out by RICS registered valuers.
RICS Valuations for Shared Ownership purposes (Housing Associations)
We carry out many valuations for Shared Ownership purposes, whether for repayment of % shares when selling, or for staircasing (buying additional % shares).
We are very familiar with the basis of valuation requirements for the vast majority of the Housing Associations within our areas (all their requirements differ slightly) ie. Orbit, Clarion, London & Quadrant, Housing 21, Southern Housing, West Kent Housing, Moat etc. etc.
We are Registered Chartered Valuation surveyors.
The standard charge for the RICS market valuation for shared ownership purposes ranges from £250 - £300 + VAT for properties with a likely market value up to £500,000.
For above £500,000 you would need to contact us for a quote.
We can normally inspect within 5 working days of being instructed and provide the valuation in the required format within 5 working days of inspection.
